runner error ????

just done a spybot check, and got rid of stuff i thought was ok to delete. now , everytime i reboot , i get this
"runner error"
invalid backweb application
id 8263142
it doesnt seem to be causing any probs but i want to get rid of it ??? any know ???

Spybot creates a backup unless you set it not to, you should be able to click the Recovery button and select the ones pertaining to backweb. Also you could check and see if Backweb is in Add/Remove and uninstall it, you don't need it.

i recovered those files, now i get this msge
could not load dll(c:/program files\backweb\backweb client6.0.1.209l\program\backweb.dllerror code 126)
i want to get rid of this, any more help please ??

Click the "start" button, go to "run" and type "Msconfig" without the quotation marks, then click the startup tab. Find Backweb and uncheck the box beside it, then click "Apply" and "OK", then yes to restart. This should stop it from trying to startup when the computer does. Did you try uninstalling Backweb?

redo40, there is no backweb in msconfig !!!!. in add/remove programs, nothing there either. i havent a clue what it is , where it is , or what it does ???

think ive sorted it. i used western digitals data lifeguard diagnostic tool, and it must have installed some sort of spyware. so when i ran spybot and deleted the little gits, i got that error at startup!! uninstalled the data lifeguard tool, and removed all traces of it . no msge at startup anymore. thanx for your help redo40
