Paint Shop Pro Settings?
Hi All
I have installed PSP 7 onto my new computer and it is all working fine apart from one thing. When I click on a file which is associated with PSP (JPG etc), on my old computer I would click on it and then the file would open within PSP. On this installation, I double click on the file as in to open it and PSP opens and then a 'Browse' window opens within the default directory. After all this, the picture I orignally said to open within PSP does not appear. Im sure it is something to do with the settings, but Im not that hot on it and the manual is HUGE!! Any help would be appreciated Karl |

Have you tried;
File/Preferences/File Format Associations Place a check mark beside all of the various file formats that you would like to have open in PSP 7. Use the reverse if you have files opening in PSP 7 that you don't want opening there. This should solve the problem unless I missunderstood what you are asking. If this does not solve the problem then I don't think it has anything to do with PSP. The files may already have another association, but that is a Windows thing and I am not sure how you would go about changing it.

I finally sorted it out by removing it and setting the associations in Windows explorer again and then sorted it all out.
Thanks for the help Karl |
