Hi All
I have a Nero disk image here which is 773mb. It is possible to use this to write a disk? I assume I will need a bigger than normal disk 800mb? Anyw help would be good. Many Thanks Karl |

I think Nero can handle it, using either larger blocks (2235 instead of 2048) or overburn (if your burner supports it).
Give it a try. I use Nero, and have burned CD's as large as 805mb with no trouble on an LG 40x12x40, using standard 700mb CDR's. |

I have tried to write the disk once and its not worked. I cant seem to find how to set the block size, you got any suggestions? I know you can do it as Ive stumbled upon this once already.
Thanks Karl |

One other question, I did have a CDI image file, which I understand will not work within nero. This is the only way I can access the block sizes when trying to burn a foreign image. Is there any other way around this?
I downloaded a CDI to nero program, is this recommended at all? Thank again Karl |

It should happen automatically, when Nero detects a file longer than 700mb it should prompt you to increase the block size. I have never had to set it manually. What version are you using?
What format is the file in, is it .iso, .img, .bin or what? |

I am using Nero 5. The file is a .cdi but I have converted this to a .nrg file to work in nero as I thought that the .cdi would not work in nero.
Thanks Karl |

See if you can extract it using WinRAR or WinZIP, then use WinISO to make an .iso of it. Nero will then burn it easily.
Try upgrading your Nero to 5.5.9 (the latest version I think, free download) and see if that works. You could also use CloneCD to remake the image in .bin format, which Nero will also burn easily. |
