Divx to TV question
is it possible to play a divx file on a tv screen by using the video card's tv out? if so, how is this done? do i still need a software that is designed for this task?

Hi,
I would imagine that if you can play a regular media player file and have it work through the TV out, a DIVX file would work as well. Having said that, I could be wrong though since I have never tried it. HTH |

I can play DIVX files on my TV using the TV out of my radeon 7500 and it works fine. For some DIVX player software you may have to set the TV to be the primary display.

Is the composite or s-video correctly connected to the TV.

yes. connection is no problem. the trouble is, the tv display is unaccessible, only lcd, lcd/crt, and crt.

Read your laptop manual - is it capable of TV out through the s-video?
