Deleting inacessible folders

Ive been playing an Online game and to save macros (commands) i saved the folder with them in.

I reinstalled the Game becuase it developed a problem trouble is now when i pasted the Macros folder back into where it should go im unable to
A: acces the folder
B: make new macros cos its says inacessible folder
C: I cant delete the folder so that i can make macros again.

Is there anyways to delete this folder well make XP delete this folder???

How did you save it and copy it back? If you used a CD burner, the folder is now "read only" - can you right click on the folder and get Properties? If so, uncheck the read-only box and see what happens.

i cut it from the original folder and put it into My documents then re pasted it back into the game folder after instalation

ok tried to uncheck read only and did it to the subfolders pressed apply and pressed ok when i did right click prop to check it , it had gone back to read only any other ideas?
