cdr 99min 870mb

i'm using recordnow max 4.5 and the latest nero. i'm trying to burn data onto these 99 min cd-r's but when i load up my work space with more than 700mb of data it says there's not enough space.

I don't know much about the new standard, are you sure you don't need a newer drive?

If not a newer drive maybe a firmware update.

Overburning has to be enabled to burn to these disks, and the drive firmware has to support them.

www.allmediaoutlet.com has a compatibility list.

Thats a nice link Xayd. One qestion, I was looking for my drive on that list and they go by model number. I don't really want to have remove my DVD-ROM(directly on top of my CD-RW's model number), I'm I correct in assuming that the model number reflects the speed? Like my 32x12x40 would be an LTR-32123S?

Try using CDRWIN. It doesn't complain at all about overburning.

That was gonna be my next suggestion .

I would think it odd that a DVD burner wouldn't support these disks too, but I've seen stupider things out of PC hardware so who knows?
