Burning disc problems

Help please. We are trying to burn a cd with a copy of a price list using a Adeptec writer (easy cd creator 4 )
The price list is written in Publisher format and linked to Excel.
The burning all takes place ok but when we try to open the list from the burnt disc it takes forever to try to open. We give up in the end and close the program
List size is around 59 kb.
Burn speed 4x

It sounds like the file may not include all the linked files. The easiest way is to make sure you have a useable file by selcting it to email it and see how big it is then. If it got bigger then that's the file you want to burn.
