O. Express overriding Eudora

Eudora is set as my default email, however I have recently been using OE for newsgroups, and email has started to come into OEs inbox while I am on newsgroups.
What can I do to not have email coming into two programs ?
View the newsgroups via somewhere else? On I. Explorer or ?

Thanks,
Chris.

Make sure Outlook Express is not set to default also. From Outlook Express open tools>accounts and delete the settings for your eamil account and it can't take over.

Didn't see anything in 'mail ' Tuf, except my email a/c ,
only in ' News' was there was a bag of accounts (Bill's friends) which I deleted. Lets see what happens Manana. Get back to you.
Cheers,
Chris.

In Outlook Express
Click on 'Tools' and then 'Accounts'
Next choose the 'Mail' tab
Double click on the account that you wish to stop
Remove the check in the checkbox that says 'Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing.
Click OK
OE will not check this account anymore.
You have to do the above for each account you want to disable.

Consider getting Free Agent for a newsreader instead of using OE.

I have been using News Desk for awhile and it is a very basic newsreader that has worked well for me so far. It's also free. I haven't used a great deal of different ones so there may be better ones out there.
