FrontPage 2002

My wife just completed her first Web Site. In order to publish the site I had to rename "index.htm" to "Default" In order for it to work on my server running Win 2000 Pro.
The problem is that when ever you click on the "Home" button on the navigation bars I get a "page cannot be found" warning.

What can I do to rectify this small problem??

TIA

mine are all index.htm. You just have to format the url to reflect it.

eg. www.teeb.com/index.htm

If I follow you correctly. I would have to go into my dns and change my IP address to be directed to www.teeb.ca/index as opposed to www.teeb.ca?

correct. Rename the file index.htm and forward to www.teeb.ca/index.htm

make sure to include the .htm as it'll look for .html by default and i dont think it'll work. But it may.

I set it to redirect www.teeb.ca to www.teeb.ca/index.htm. I then renamed default to index.htm. Now I get an Under Construction page. It should take a little while for this change to be absorbed I think??

Thanx for the compliments on my Dogs. I just added a newdog today. We will add a page for him in the near future!!
