Downloaded Service pack update... How can I put the update on CDR?

I downloaded the Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 and it took nearly 3 hours on dial up. I don't want to do that ever again. Is there any way to get it on CDR so I can update via CD and don't have to download it again?

Thanks!

Hi,

Many PC magazines come with free utility CD disks.
MAny of them will have the service packs on their.
You can use them in future.
I got my Win2000 Service pack freen on a PC mag disk, and also WInXP SP1

Did you download the network installation verson? That's the one that you can burn to a CD as a single EXE file.

I'm a believer in using a disk imaging program. I personally use Drive Image by PowerQuest.

In lieu of saving the download, I image before and after and major changes. I just restore the whole partition in a few minutes.

3 hours on dialup didn't get the whole thing - just the active install. Until I got broadband, I would rely on friends with broadband and CD burners to help me out. If you need to archive SP3, get the network install - but with SP4 around the corner, I would just wait and do it right then.
