Fonts Search

Hello

I am looking for the font FF Meta Black for a project I am working on. I realise that it is possible to purchase this font online, but it costs quite a bit and I really don't have that amount of money to spend.

I was wondering if anyone of you know of a website which would allow me to download this font for free.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hiya

Thanks a lot, but nothing happens when I click on the Download icon.

I was wondering if you could send it to me?

I really appreciate this!

It may not be a good idea to publiclly post your email address, Ashburn. Just a suggestion...

Btw, I couldn't download it either. I'm looking around for another site now.

There are plenty of fonts out there in the public domain - perhaps you can find a close substitute? I have a CD around here somewhere - I think it's called "10,000 Fonts" or something like that - I paid $5 for it a few years ago at Egghead - maybe you can find something similar?

Just took a quick look through my font library. Arial Black seems to be a good match. Compare my font (linked) with the FF meta font (above). There are a few slight differences, but none that you would notice as long as it is not studied closely.

I'm thinking Trebuchet MS might be an even closer match. Slightly thinner maybe, but far closer than Arial. I think it's installed with Windows or MS Office.
