Hi,
I'm trying to export address book from Outlook Express 5.5 in Win 98 to Outlook 2000 in XP. When I export it it makes a file with a .wab extension which Outlook 2000 doesn't seem able to read. What am I doing wrong and is there another way to do it. The address are in contacts on both machines. TIA

I don't know if this applies for you, but it worked for me in transfering mail, address book and favorites between a old and new PC. I was using Outlook Express and IE6 on both.

Thanks Chas that did the trick! The moving settings to a new PC I didn't try becuase I was going from OE 5.5 to Outlook 2000 and it looked like that was only for going to OE from OE. But the section on address book clued me in to what I was doing wrong and it worked like a champ!
