Exclamation Explorer error

Evening,

My Internet Explorer is acting really strange, it seems as if the fonts changed in numerous places. Here's a screenshot:

As you can see the address bar and the button fonts are really small. My first instinct was to restart the computer because it must be somekind of a low-memory bug. But after numerous reboots my desktop items and my explorer are still looking abnormal. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Much appreciated,

Right click on the desktop and check your resolution in the display properties. Looks like it has been changed to a higher setting.

No, I'm pretty sure it's not it.

Nah, it's not the resolution. Look at the text on the toolbar . It's in cursive!

Try closing out of quicktime, close IE, then go back into it.

I just noticed that my computer's memory resources are at 66% with all the applications closed! (VIA ctrl+alt+del)

I am not sure what is wrong. Maybe I need to defragment? Scandisk? Or worst yet a virus?

Thanks for the replies,

Check out msconfig and see what all is starting, might be a clue in there.

Yeah force, I missed that little cursive writing, definitely not resolution.

It helps to be a graphics artist, lol!

pc_noob, 512MB should be more than enough.

Well, I'm guessing too that 512megs is sufficient, but I just rebooted with the updated MSConfig (only Keyboard Manager and ZoneAlarm Pro checked) and my computer is still very strange.

Try it without ZA, just for the heck of it.

Ok,

I beleive I've found the source of the error. It was just the font settings for my computer that I must have messed around with in my CP in Display properties. Is there any way to restore it to default? Because I can't seem to get it back to it no matter what.

Thanks a lot for your help guys,

I hereby retract my statement of "having found the source of the error...". I don't know why but no matter what font type I choose in my Macromedia Fireworks MX program, they all are the same one type of font (even when previewing). So my modest guess is that there is something wrong with my fonts, but definetly not sure what. I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out here on PCM.

Thanks a lot,

You can try installing TweakUI and repair the fonts folder.
