Runtime Error 429
hi! i need help, hope there's somebody out there can help me solve this problem, and i'm sure there is...
here's my problem recently i installed a program and when i was trying to run the program i got an error message "Runtime Error '429' ActiveX can't create an object." hope you guys can help me...thanks in advance...

it is txt messaging prog (chikkatxt messenger) i use this for sending txt message pc to phone and pc to pc...i was using this before in the same pc then i uninstalled this prog to free up some disk space then i got the error message when i re installed it again...hope you can help me...thaks..

You have the wrong version of MDAC installed (Microsoft Data Access Components) or yours are missing or corrupted. There are a few versions available at www.microsoft.com/data , click on the data access links. You may want to check with the people that wrote the software package you are using for advice and compatibility.

They all are - I'm talking a version compatible with your software package.
Check the second data access link on that page, it explains it under Installation Versions and Operating System Compatibilities. |

i downloaded the file and installed it already but still i got the same error message...what do you think is wrong with it...btw, i used that prog already in the same pc, uninstalled it for sometime because i need more space, i got the problem when i reinstalled and run it...
