font size
When I reply to a message or send a new one I can not control the font size or type.
I set it under the TOOLS-OPTIONS-compose to 12 Arial, but as soon as I typ, it goes to Times New Roman, size 12, everytime. It will not let me change it while I am creating/replying, even if I switch to Rich Text. I checked the options, and made sure I had the radio button unchecked that says to reply using the same font. Why am I stuck in this font??? thanks for any help -- |

If it's outlook, the default font is Arial like work has the default font of times new roman.

argh
If this posts twice, I apologise. I swear I replied to this in the morning.
Its outlook express. I probably shouldn't post after a certain hour, I forget to mention things like what program I am trying to fix. Anyway, I first thought it was going to Times New Roman, when I replied to a email, because there is a radio button for keeping the fonts the same as the message you are replying to. But that is not the case. No matter what I do, or where I set the fonts, they always revert back to Times New Roman. As soon as I clk on the message (left mouse), I don't even have to type a letter, it will go from whatever I set the fonts to, back to Times New Roman. I have set the fonts in thetools-- options--compose-- and I have tried it while creating a message by switching from plain text to rich text. It doesn't matter. Now I have nothing against Times New Roman, but its going to kill me if I don't find out why its doing this. Thanks for any help. |

I just thought of something. I don't know how long this has been going on. But I recently downloaded and installed some updates and the service pack for Xp. Its a possibility.
