PC Boosters and Such
How do 'PC Boosters' work, and how do they work, and more importantly do they work. I realize that free stuff, won't work, usually, because if it worked, the person would try to sell it, but does anyone have a PC booster that they payed for, and does it work? I doubt I would get one, but I always get the pop adds for PC boosters and stuff. To get a PC boost, I would rather just get more RAM or a faster processor...LOL.

As far as I know PC Booster isn't free:
http://www.inklineglobal.com/products/pcb/ but it does work. It can also cause trouble so think carefully first. If you want your comp analyzed with a list of improvements you can make go over the PCpitstop. You have to register but yes it's free and yes it's useful. |

If you're just curious then go here : http://www.pcpitstop.com/
It's not a booster but it can give you a good idea of what they basically do. |
