Hi around2it,
I used to have seveal links.... most of which don't seem to work anymore. This one: http://www.spellchecker.com/personal/ Is Not freeware, and works OK, but doesn't know as many words as a Pay program should... This one: http://www.allfreeware.com Use to have a free one, which I've never tried. The direct link doesn't work, and I couldn't find it.... maybe you can... There was also one at: www.tudogs.com but can't find my link.... Seems like it's time to clean out my links...... HTH TwoRails |

Hi around2it,
Your post snunk in under the wire!! OE "officialy" will only spell check if you have MS Word installed (pretty cheesy, eh?). So, if your spell check button is greyed out, then there is no spell checker installed. Some spell checkers, like in the first link above, will actually integrate into OE so the button, or F7 will work. Others make you cut-n-pasted from one window to another. You'll have to read the fine print / feature list of one that you're interested in. Also, I think that www.thescreensavers.com also had one listed somewhere, that was free, and would integrate....
