Norton AV Re-Install?

Hi All

Having just put windows xp on my computer, I didnt remove Norton AV before hand and now it is causing me problems when it comes to re-installing it and deleting it.

Ive tried to uninstall through control panel etc and no luck. It keeps on coming up saying that the Network location xxxxx cannot be accessed.

This then will not allow the install/uninstall to complete. Exactly the same problem occurs when it comes to installing.

I have tried to delete all the files manually and no luck due to access permissions etc.

Has anyone else got any ideas how to overcome this problem?

Thanks for any help

Karl
