Burning a .bin file

How exactly do i burn a .bin file with nero?

Burn it as data.

No, Force_Flow, you can't do that, you'll just end up with the .bin file on the CD, still not usable.
In Nero, click File, Burn image, browse for the .bin file and burn it.
Nero will extract the .bin and put the data on the CD properly.

A .bin file contains the information that's REALLY what was on the original CD, all it's files and folders. If you burn a .bin as data, you end up with a .bin on the CD, still in .bin and not extracted.
Think of a .bin file as a .zip file, and you get the idea, however in this case, Nero will extract the .bin and write the correct files/folders onto the CD all in one step.
If you had ISOBuster or other similar program, you can manually extract the .bin to the hard drive to view it's contents.
.bin is just one type of "image" file, there are others such as .img, .nrg, .iso, .gho, etc...

when i selected "burn image", .bin wasn't one of the supported file types. i ended up getting a different program and it worked fine. thanks for the help

In Nero, just select "All files" and then click on the .bin
Nero will do it just fine.
