Codecs
What is a good, all-inclusive pack of codecs that i can download? I just downloaded a movie, and there's no picture.

What OS are you running?
Have you downloaded the DivX codecs already? What format is the movie?

DivX is a good one, but it doesn't have everything. Try it first, and if the file still won't play, then install Nimo's Codec Pack. Just do a google search. I suspect there's spyware in Nimo, but the latest version of Ad-Aware should get it all.

the movie is avi. when i first played it, i had divx and all i got was sound. i downloaded the nimo pack, but now the picture is messed up. i don't think it ever refreshes the picture. new scenes start off with the old picuture stretched over the new objects.
