Angry starting in safe mode

ok im not sure what the problem is but when i start from safe mode i get to the log in screen and i can pick either administrator or my login. well thats just what i see becouse i cant pick any thing! my mouse doesnt move and ive tried to use different mice, and none work. nothing works, not even my keyboard. so i cant get into safemode. so i restart so i can go online and post here and i find that all the fonts in my browser window are irregularly large. its like that in my IE and crazzybrowzer. ive notice this change on yahoo.com in the past but never on any other site. im not saying its the site itself though, im not sure what it is.

Do you have an active Anti-Virus running? Have you tried doing a trojan scan or anything like that? When did this start? after any suspicious download or upgrades?

The text thing can be fixed easily - In the IE control bar hit: "view">>text size>>medium, or whatever your prefer.

By the way...is the mouse or keyboard wireless? How old are they? They do mighty strange things when they are failing.

It's got nothing to do with faulty mouse/keyboard. It's got nothing to do with a virus or trojan.
I'll bet that they are USB devices, and there is no Legacy USB support for them set up in BIOS.
Because they're USB, they don't work in safe mode.
Set up Legacy USB support for them in the BIOS setup of your computer, and you'll be able to use them then.
The only problem is, you need a standard PS2 keyboard to get into the BIOS to enable the USB support...

Just look in the peripherals section of the BIOS setup. It may be in the Advanced chipset section too. Hard to say for sure. Read the manual.
