MS access 2000 question, is this possible?

Hello all you access guru's, I have a question for you. I have GB's of MP3's and would love to be able to just type in an artist title, song title or just do a search to pull up the song I am looking for and just be able to play it. Would this be possible through using MS Access? If so is there any good sites that explain this or would just learning access do the trick? I am willing to learn access. I hope I was descriptive enough with my question.

Thanks,
Snakeyes

Are you talking about creating a catalog of your MP3s? There would be a few ways of doing that, and yes, you could set it up so that you could automatically play songs once you found them in the catalog.

To do that well, you are going to have to learn a few things about database design.

I guess a catalog would be what I want and Yes I do want to be able to play them once the search has found the mp3 that I want.

I checked out a few books from the public library on access, I just wanted to make sure that it would do what I wanted before I spent a lot of time messing with it.
