error msg bugging me

everytime i turn on my pc....this box always pop up and say that it cannot find the file name "remind.exe"......and it says its loading from the registry.....i used regclean to clean all the programs i dont want but this msg still pops up.....how can i prevent from this msg???

have you tryed a program like ad-aware, something that removes spyware????
do you know what his remind.exe is supposed to do?????

yeap...i used ad aware but it still pops up the msg everytime i start up.....

What version of Windows? If it's 98/ME/XP, just run msconfig and uncheck it from the startup. It's a registration reminder for something you may have installed then possibly uninstalled, just get rid of it.

If you have Win95 or 2000, you will have to manually remove it from the appropriate Run key in the registry.

Before you do all that, just check your Startup group in your start menu - if it's in there, just delete it.

its a prog that i uninstalled earlier.....and it keeps on reminding me to register with them....
