I need winzip... How do I get it? Which one do I download?
I don't have winzip but I need to get it to unzip a driver I need. I don't know which one to use. Is an older version OK? I would prefer it to be free but don't know anything about winzip except that it compresses files.
What do I do? |

Download the evaluation version, it's free. It doesn't have everything the paid for version does, but will do what you need.

What is the latest version, Roger? AFAIK it's exactlyt the same as the registered only that it pops up the shareware dialog box everytime you run it.

It is the same, I was just pointing out which one to click on using Hal's link, they have the Buy Now as the main focus. By the way the latest ver is 8.1 SR-1.

Last time I checked, it was 8.1, but it seemed like 8.0 was available forever...

The free version of winzip is all I've ever used; you don't need anything else.

Unless you just want winzip, there are lots of free file 'zippers' out there ....I have been very happy with this one.
