Office 97- Access license problem
I have my own copy of office 97. It has been fine on my computer. Admittedly it's been installed on my computer, but I haven't used it, but I knew it worked. Until last night, I thought it was about time I got to grips with it.
when i tried to start it it just comes up with the message "Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license for it on this machine." I have never seen this message before, given that the restrictions on this software are pretty slack. The only thing I have changed on my pc, are I changed some network settings:- uninstalled client for microsoft networks, then reinstalled it. I thought may have had an effect, so I uninstalled office97 and reinstalled it, but still the same problem. Iwant to avoid reformatting the hd. Any suggestions? |

OK, so I should have searched the web FIRST! I usually do, but this time I didn't.
Found a download to resolve my problem here http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;191224 Apparently it's a common problem.Well I know now. |
