problem accessing data file...error 3051
Insurance software with MS Access as the backend. Data is installed on a central computer and the application installs locally. Users currently purchased Windows XP computers. One was installed with no problems (no SP1). The other one cannot register a file during installation (installing as the administrator) and then gives an error when attempting to open the program, saying the data file is not accessible.
The only difference is Service Pack 1. I'm thinking maybe the program is trying to overwrite an XP .dll and that's the problem?
I've never used this software and they have no support from the vendor.
