Angry Fire root/cimv2

I came home today from work and turned on the pc and noticed my sound was gone. It seemed to be a driver issue as the error message said so. After reinstalling the drivers, my sound still was not back. I checked device mahanger to see if anything was wrong with my sound card ( SoundBlaster Audigy Gamer ) but what i saw suprised me.
There was nothing in Device manager! I went to audio devices in contolr panel and noticed that the PC wasnt detecting the sound card. As my playback device and sound recording device all had no hardwar eto select from. They all said "no recording devices, no playback devices"
I went to Help and Support center and did a system check. I wasnt supprised to see that every thing said "failed". I took note of what the system check said , "unable to connect to WMI service root/cmiv2"
I think this may be the problem but i dont know how to solve it.

any help is greatly appreciated

heres a link to a file my friend uploaded , called "root.zip"
inside are some snapshots

Try these:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;314141
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;155126
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;298928
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;296016
There's a ton more, all having something to do with the error message you posted.
If nothing there seems to help, a repair install would probably work.
