wma to mp3?

ok i have afew good programs, such as nero, and i cant figure out how to convert wma to mp3. is there a way to do it? is there another program? win mediaplayer has an option to get mp3 conversion but i think you have to pay for it or something? would it be better to have music on my computer in mp3 or wma? whats the smallest format? i also like to back up all my music in data format. how many mp3's could i fit on a disc as aposed to about 5-10 albums in data format on a 700mb disc? sorry for the 21questions!

I like dbpowerAmp music converter .

How many songs fit on an data cd will depend on the size of the songs. I really never pay any attention to the number just watch the capacity bar on Nero and keep adding until full.

Here is a link for the wma vs mp3 debate.

Did you check out my link? dBpowerAmp is free, you don't need a reg code and has extra codecs you can download also. It converts my wma's to mp3 without any problems.
