MS Word 2000 toolbars gone

When I opened Word while on the Net yesterday all the toolbars had disappeared and I can't get them back. I've tried left & right clicking on all parts of the template but nothing. Anyone ???

Oh. Duh. I just noticed the title of the thread. I think I'll go to bed now...

Do you mean the toolbar that has "file", "edit", "view", etc.?

Try running a repair. I've only seen that once before, but I've forgotten how to get the tool bar back. It's been a while. The repair should do it.

Try Holding shift while striking F10, then you should be able to select what toolbars you want to be shown.

Send a message via Yahoo to pillainp
Check to see of you are viewing Word in Full Screen mode. Press Alt and then V to get the View menu. Then see if the Full Screen option is active.

Thank you to all for your efforts but all to no avail. I have found an adequate answer (well, explanation, of sorts) at this address. Baffling.
