Question Photo into MS Word

I have a picture saved as .jpg and would like to import into Word to be able to add some text.
Is there a different file ext. I can use to do this?

I've been trying to find a way to add text in Photoshop 7.0 but can't find the way to to it.

Some one want to try to help this novice?

You can use WordArt later to add the text.

bailey,

Thats why I asked. Copied and Pasted to no avail.

I inserted the picture and typed some text above and below it.

Worked great.

Maybe there is something I'm missing with the copy and paste. It just kept telling me I couldn't paste a picture in Word with the .jpg ext.

ok did just what you wanted
text on the top

text on the bottom and text on the sides

there is a smoll control pox on the left side of the screen
click on the littel box on the bottom left
it will show a baloon as image

you can place the image anywhere on the screen
and type text all around ityou can then cut and paste your jpeg pisture into that image box

If you have time to fool around with it you can insert the picture as a backround, also you can make a table and have the borders the color white so that you cant actually see the table, and insert the picture in there to produce different results. I have a resume in microsoft word 2000 format (.doc) that you can download and check out if you want.

Haha, no disrespect ssahl, but I was just looking at your resume and found a mispell: "software conflicks" should be "software conflicts".

lol
non taken, that probably would not have been very funny if I had used that web site for job search, lucky for me though I have not used it yet. and mispell, I'll call it a typo. anyway thanks for pointing that out. It has been fixed, how does it look now? and anyone else feel free to take another shot at me, as I will not take it the wrong way, but will just fix it so that it does look right before I actually start using the web site.

Ssahl, on resumes I find it looks better when you insert the date you started and left; also if you are still doing that job then just replace when you left with "Present".

Yea your right, but job history is not a real strong point for me, to many gaps, and the job at Petz is seasonal too, so thats why I didnt do that.
