anybody useing this software, I have been thinking of buying it for making movies, I don't loke the stuff that came with my ati aiw video card or the stuff that came with my dvd burner.

I use it and think it is brilliant. Still at the beginner stage though but find it very user friendly, easy to work with and STABLE. Far superior to Ulead Video Studio 6 in my opinion. Upgraded to version 8.5 (6 meg download from their website) much better than version 7 as it has it's own CD/DVD burning engine.
Windows XP home + SP1 and make sure you have enough ram as it uses about 35 to 50 meg just to open.

The proggie got great scores in the reviews I've read. And it's not expensive if you take into consideration its capabilities.

PC World Online has a great review od DVD burning software on their site. Pinnacle Studio 8 got really good marks. In fact if I remember correctly the only other software that they rated better was about five or six hundred dollars.

I found it on the web for as low as $63 if you have enough patience to mail order it.
