Are WAREZ real???

I don't want to get anyone in trouble, so I'm not asking where and how. I just want to know, are warez a online urban legend? or do they really exist. warez = "pirate" web sites that offer free cracked software

yes, warez is real. My friend used to burn whole games and movies to cds and sell them online. He made about 3 grand and then got busted by Microsoft! He just got a warning e-mail and he cashed out of the business and bought a used car with the money.

I think this thread might be closed because it is warez talk regardless.

He sold them ONLINE

I've seen some people peddling warez person to person, but online is a pretty risky venue.

One school my teacher was at got busted for installing office software and OS's without the licenses. There was a surprise inspection, and they got fined around a million bucks for pirating a ton of software. So my advice, buy your stuff. AND keep the license.

It's not only getting busted. I have seen several cases where ppl downloads this crap and end up with completely messed up systems.

Lol! That's the funniest Q&A I've seen all day.

Yes, if you definately want to stay on the safe side (for your system and you), go retail or OEM.

ok. I dont want to tell anyone to go out and use warez cause it is VERY risky business. Im not just talking about selling, Im talking about using. I have crashed my system before with warez games. I needed to completely reformat. However, warez is an option for ppl with small budjets that dont mind ripping off developers. for this reason I have stopped using it (guess I AM growing up) but this is a very touchy subject on boards such as these and warez can get you into a lot of trouble so Im gonna leave it at this.....kazaa=warez
