downloaded software cannot setup
Hi guys,
i downloaded a software but I am not able to run it. It doesnt seems to be a windows. when I double click it. the DOS prompt or the command prompt opens up and the closes. I am using Win XP Pro Any idea why? thx |

Open a DOS box, and run the program from there.

Hi,
I had scanned for viruses - NONE I tried opening the COmmand Prompt box, but it states the program is oo large to run - its 700MB. Its a game, gotten from where - U KNOW... most probably its two cds into one.... any help thx........ if not I m gonna delete it and carry on.. thx buddies aceMan |

If this is a game "demo" there should be a readme which tells you what to do to run it. I'm not accusing you of anything, but if you have downloaded a CD rip of a commercial game, we can't assist you as per our usage Guidelines 8 and 9 in the site FAQ.

it is a cd rip man... well its ok....... I have already deleted that file away.
