is it possible for ms access to find out what user is logged in
im writing a database for my college project and i need a little help.
i need to only allow certain users access to parts of the database, is it possible for access to find out who the current user is from windows 2000 so i can compare them to a list of allowed users? or is there an easier way to go about this? cheers in advance dan |

you could open a free yahoo briefcase acount, upload your database, and only give the password to those who you want to be able to share with....(I don't know a thing about access)
