formatted now will not boot
i have a 1.4 tbird with a ms-6330 board with a 40 gig hd. The hd was from another machine i had with the os installed already.
i swapped the hd without formatting but computer would boot and load. one day there was a problem with my ftp (that's a whole other story) so i decided to format. Since then my computer would not go through boot sequence. if i were to boot from the cd it'll go to that part right b4 it'll load the cd (booting from cd) and just get stuck there. I've tried changing things in the bios from default to just messing around with it. if i have it on default it will not detect my hardrive. any suggestions? thanks in advance p.s. I've since put the same hardrive back in my old computer and works fine. |

Are you getting any error messages at all?
Try changing the IDE cables. Try another CD-ROM (or DVD or CD-RW) drive. Cricket
