Question photoshop - photo to cartoon

How can I change a photo to look like a cartoon drawning?

view-stylize-find edges might do what you want...
Photoshop has so many effects, just try experimenting......

I know. It's both good and bad that there are so many things. Good in that you can do a lot; bad in that it takes forever to find what you want.

If you do a search for Photoshop tutorials you can find all kinds of instructions....free and for $.
I've learned a lot in the 8 years that I've operated PS, but there is certainly lots more to learn...just be greatful you're not trying to learn AutoCad....

i haven't used this in photoshop, but i think there's an option for it. do you see anywhere where it says convert image to vector graphic? once that is done, turning a picture into a cartoon becomes very simple.

I believe there is a plugin for vector art conversion...can't remember where I saw it tho'
