Have you tried changing the name back to what it was?

MS Access
Hello there
Yes I did change back to original name, but it still did not work. I noticed that when I first changed it the name the symbol changed at the beginning of the file name from MS Access to some other and it never changed back when I changed the name. Any other ideas to help me out ? |

Are you showing all file extensions? Windows defaults to hiding them for known types, you may have just left off the .mdb or whatever it was.

Got it !
I had changed the name back to the original but I hadn't changed the file ext. I got so used to MS doing it automatically I didn't think. So it was as simple as that but I couldn't see it starring me in the face. Thank you very much for helping me out on this occasion, I can't describe the relief. Many thanks |
