Computer/Internet Timer
I'm looking for a timer that can be controlled from a server that will limit the amount of time spent on a computer/internet by each computer connected to a server. Is such a software available as a freeware or can it only be purchased?

ProxyNow from www.internetnow.com.my allows such a function, but is a Proxy server which I assume you already have. It can log how long a user is logged onto the internet through the proxy server and disallow internet access per IP address or per username
On the client side, No Frills Timer from www.grofsoft.com can tell you how long you've been online. http://www.grofsoft.com/nft/nft21.exe I know a friend who uses the software you really need though, I'll get back to you Jim |

Thanks Jim,
Can this software you suggested, be used to terminate a session so that users can not go beyond the time allocated them. |

The software my friend uses can yes, ProxyNow does the same but as you're already an internet server yourself you will already have a proxy server so that solution wouldn't be appropriate for you
I'm waiting for friend to come back to me with name of server software, I know he uses it. I'll let you know Jim |
