Chose Image Recorder from you "Recrder>Choose Recorder" dialog and go through all the usual steps as youwould in creating a normal CD.Nero will then ask where and how you want to save the image. Choose ISO Image for File Type in the relevant drop down in the dialog.
You should do fine. HTH NPP |

When burning an image, Nero will ask you what name you want to save it as. Right below that is the list from which you can select what type of image (.nrg, .iso, etc) you want to save the image as. Look at the attachment to see what I'm talking about and try it again.
But. like Homer says, don't sweat it. As long as you are using the image yourself and not sharing it, it really does not matter whether it's .nrg or .iso. NPP Oops Homer, forgot you started the thread. Sorry. Last edited by pillainp; 05-20-2003 at 02:09 PM. |

I have 5.5.10.28 as an upgrade from an OEM 5.5.something that came with my Lite-On burner - and .nrg is all I can get too.

I guess then only the Enterprise edition supports the creation of .iso images. But I think the retail version does as well.

Good question...as it started out as a bundled version (of dubious parentage) that's been upgraded 3 or 4 times.
