DVD X Copy™ XPRESS

This is the new version which is about 50% cheaper than DVD X Copy™. Anybody try this? I can't find a review.

The trial version won't do an entire movie. If it works fairly well I will just go ahead and buy it.

Hi all,
How great is 'Great'?

I have used DVD Copy Plus by the same crowd. It worked fine but split the DVD into two (normally)files with a 650Mb limit on file size.....and all in MPEG format.

I need something to copy a DVD to ONE CD-R. MPEG is just too big. I have used FlaskMPEG but it doesn't work so well with the newer DVD's I've bought....i.e.: choppy sound with no video.

FWI I just want to copy the DVD's I OWN so as I can loan them to friends or watch them on the road etc....

Any more info??

Like I said "It works great" but I guess it is illegal now I don't know why anyone would want to put stuff on CDR media any way since writers and media is so cheep any more.... Anyway I was just checking back in on some of my old post and thought I would tie up a few loose ends---> Later, Scotty

I had been using DVDX for about a year but was really fed up with having to move things around or copy the film to two discs. A few weeks ago my son gave me a copy of DVD shrink, it is brilliant does all the work for you including compression, so you can fit the film on one disk and it is intergrated with Nero which makes it a walk in the park.
I love it and can't praise it highly enough, I have now archived my entire DVD collection.
Having a DVD player and a DVD burner in one machine makes a big difference to, its just so easy.
