Dictionary in Word 2000
I inadvertantly added a word with incorrect spelling to my Word 2000 dictionary. I have not been able to find a way to edit the dictionary to remove it.
Does anyone have any idea how I would go about this without reinstalling Word or reformatting my HD.

Hiya,
Do a searh on yur system for all files with the extension ".dic" i.e. "*.dic". There should be a file called "CUSTOM.DIC" Search it and remove the word/s you do not want on there. HTH NPP

Thank very much HTH, it worked like a charm. In fact it looks like a much easier way to add words to the dictionary as well.
