Quicken payroll

I have a client that is running Quicken 2003 and Quicken payroll on an old computer with Windows 95 on it. He has a newer machine with Windows 98 that he wants to use. I installed both programs on the Windows 98 machine and did all updates. Then did a restore from the backup disk we made on the Windows 95 machine. Both programs work fine and all information is there. But when we try to export the information from payroll program to Quicken 2003 it does not work. Error cannot find file. But the file is there.

I hook up a network card in each machine and networked the two together and copy all the files from both programs from the Windows 95 machine to the 98 machine. Still have the same problem.

Both machines have the files located in the same place on both hard drives.

The file is not marked read only and has no password to access it.
