works suite 2002 install

ive microsoft works suite 2002 on dvd, and i want to put it on my laptop. problem is , it has no dvd drive!! can i somehow use my main pc to port it over or something ??? thanx.

You may be able to install by networking the PC to the Laptop and either share the DVD drive or map it as a network drive...

it should only take a cross-over cable, providing there is a network card or lan port in the laptop...try posting in the networking forum for advice how to do this...

You just posted the same post over there in networking, the idea was to ask the question now as it applies to the networking part of your desired task, or at least add on to the original one and say something like OK guys how do I do the networking of these 2 PC's???
