uploading to a website

does anyone have a comcast internet account? do you use your webspace? i need to know how to upload my things to my comcast account so that they will show up on the web.
i have tried to just upload a simple html page, but when i press preview, it shows a blank page.
i am using dreamweaver MX. is there a way to just ftp from the program(i know dreamweaver offers it, i just know if comcast allows it)

also i have a big site. how should i upload it?
main site----(links to)site one----(many of its own pages)
[-----site two----(many of its own pages)
[-----site three---(many of itys own pages)
etc.

Probably FTP is how you need to do it, so you just need ftp client software and you get connected to the site, usually requires a password authentication, then you pretty much just dump all the needed files to your webspace. It will usually just use index or home.html for the homepage...
