I've heard all sorts of rumors about WM9, none of them have been proven...yet. It seems with every piece of software that Microsoft builds there are these rumors that our internet traffic is being monitored with "pings" back to MSCentral. Using good logic and reason will tell you that, first there are millions upon millions of users. If the rumors are true...just what is Microsoft doing with all this data? I mean, I know they have unbelievable assets, but how much would this monitoring cost? Probably millions upon millions. Now, I'm not saying there isn't any shred of truth in these "rumors", just that in my humble opinion, M$ has far too many other real profit making projects on the line. I would think that spyware deltecting programs like Adaware or Trojan detecting programs would be able to sniff something out.... well that's my twopence, anyone else have any proof these rumars hold water or not??
