powerpoint letter by letter help
Hi, I am using powerpoint 2002 and I can't workout how to get the letter by letter setup. I'm sorry to ask this here but its doing my head in.

How exactly do you mean "letter by letter setup"? If you mean animating text letter by letter, select the text and then choose Custom Animation from the Slide Show Menu. When the animation tool box pops up at right of pwerpoint window, select the type of effect you want from the "Add Effect" dialog. Then right click the effect in the effects list and choose "Effect Options". In the Effects tab, choose "By Letter" in the Animate Text dropdown, and there you go. You can set further timing and direction options from the same dialog.
