Outlook Express

I continually get spam mail and have decided to try and cut out all the crap I recieve and stop wasting time looking through all this stuff. Is there anyway in outlook ex that you can block all incoming mail EXCEPT those coming from names in your address book.

The tools menu has the message rules option, then click mail.
There are lots of options.
One bit of advice about spam. Don't open the mail, a lot of spam has html that will ping the sender and let them know your address is valid. Also, if you do open spam, don't try the "click here to remove"...most of the time that also just tells them your address is real....they might take you off their list, but will sell your address as valid to another list. I have tried antispam programs with little result, most of them do little more than setting some rules like in Outlook.
I have found the best thing to do is to go ahead and set your rules and just ignore what comes in. It might take awhile, but they do tend to get discouraged and eventually take you off their list (not always tho').
