I have a very touchy version of nero that came supplied with my cd burner when i purchased it. I have been wanting to make vcd's with it and it will only recognize .MPG,.MPEG,.AVI files. It did real a .WMV file once but it took about half an hour to convert it. This isnt what im worrying about. What my problem is this. And it makes me rather pi$$ed off. It will not let me add AVI files to the VCD compilation. No matter what the codec... Is there a way around this?.. Or different software to use? Please help me!

First of all did you download the proper codec there is two one is making a vcd another is super vcd, the avi problem might be you were trying to add a dvix.avi file.? And the converting some computers takes longer time to do it it depends on the speed and memory and if you are using Win ME forget it Win ME in times screws up your system. Try NTI cd-maker it's more simple to use just type NTI in yahoo to get the website i forgot it
