Excel Gurus needed...Worksheet issue
I have a pain in the a** VIP who does not want to do more than once click with his mouse. So here is the problem that I am having a problem finding a solution for it.
We have multiple excel files; within each file there are more than one worksheets. Some worksheets are set to A4, letter, legal, and even A3. Each worksheet, even though it's in one excel file is looked at as a seperate document. So as it stands now we are going to the settings for each worksheet and changing settings accordingly. But latley he has been getting excel files with up to 15 worksheets within the file. Well going into the settings 15x's is getting a little ridiculous. Does anyone know of a way I can apply sheet changes to all. Believe me, I have looked and I still do not see a way of doing this, assuming if it's even possible. |

Hi Iman,
This is only a problem when you want to print, right? So, I think I have an answer 4 u. If u want to print out more than one sheet in a book, you can activate the sheets u want 2 print by hitting the first worksheet tab, then with control key pressed, select the other sheets, just like selecting files in explorer. Then, with your sheets selected, go to the print menu, hit the 'print active sheets' button, then in the same dialogue box go to printer properties and choose the paper size you want, and away you go, I hope! HTH, Chris in U.K. |

If you select all the sheets (either individually as Chris noted above, or by selecting the first sheet, then hold down shift, and select the last - you'll get everything in between too), then you can set print options for all of them.
Select the sheets, then FILE - PAGE SETUP, and change whatever you need. It should apply to all the sheets, although that may depend on which version of Excel you are using. Post back if I misunderstood your problem. David. |

That looks like that did what I wanted. Thanks ahead of time. However, I will not know for sure till the assistant tries. But I did it myself and it appears to fix the problem on hand. Well thank you. If problems continue I will just add to this thread.
