With DPalette, You can change the desktop background to your favorite color. It supports Windows 9x/Me/2000/XP.

That isn't really necessary.
Right click on desktop> properties > appearance > under "item", select "desktop" > select your color.

thanks ffish, for posting this link.
like forceflow stated, this is just a 3rd party software that will do for you what windows can... there is a lot of software "out there" that is like this. I had a program that let you change the words "it is now safe to shut down your computer" to what ever message you wanted. when I tried this, I used too large a graphics file and my computer wouldn't finish shutting down until I returned the message to default. This is the problem with a lot of these 3rd party programs. next time you want to change something, just post here....some one is bound to know how to do it within windows.... |

A unique feature is you can restore the color to the previous one before you run it
